What do the letters mean by some of the classes (ex. CD2-A & CD2-B)? They only indicate to the staff the different classes by their day of the week and time of day. In other words, the levels of dance are the same, just the day & time are different.
Children's Dance Program
Must be the appropriate age by September 1, 2018
Children's Dance 1 (age 3): Tue, 3:00-3:45pm(CD1-A) or Wed, 4:30-5:15pm(CD1-B) or Sat, 9:15-10:00am(CD1-C)
Children's Dance 2 (age 4): Mon, 4:30-5:15pm(CD2-A) or Thur, 3:00-3:45pm(CD2-B) or Sat, 10:15-11:00am(CD2-C)
Children's Dance 3 (age 5): Tue, 4:00-4:45pm(CD3-A) or Thur, 5:00-5:45pm(CD3-B) or Sat, 11:15am-Noon(CD3-C)
Children's Dance 4 (age 6): Tue, 5:00-5:45pm(CD4-A) or Thur, 4:00-4:45pm(CD4-B) or Sat, 12:15-1:00pm(CD4-C)
Half-Pint Harmonies Classes:
Music Pups for Infants-4years with Parents/Caregivers. Registration for these classes are through Half-Pint Harmonies. Click HERE for more information and/or to register for classes.
Wed. 9:30-10:15am: July 9 - Aug. 11 (4 week session with NO Class on July 25th)
Classical Ballet Classes

Elementary Ballet 1 (age 7, minimum): Mon 3:30-4:30pm(EB 1-A) or Thur 5:00-6:00pm(EB 1-B)
Elementary Ballet 2 (ages 8+ with 1 yr experience): Mon. & Wed. 3:30-4:30pm(EB 2-A) or Mon & Wed 5:30-6:30pm(EB 2-B)
Elementary Ballet 3 (ages 9+ with 2 yrs experience): Mon. & Wed. 3:30-4:30pm(EB 3-A) or Mon & Wed 4:30-5:30pm(EB 3-B)
Intermediate Ballet 1 (Minimum 3 yrs experience & faculty recommendation): Tue & Thur 4:30-6:00pm(IB-1)
Intermediate Ballet 2 (Minimum 4 yrs experience & faculty recommendation): Mon & Wed 4:30-6:00pm(IB-2)
Intermediate Ballet 3 (Minimum 5 yrs experience & faculty recommendation): Mon & Wed 6:00-7:30pm(IB-3)
Advanced Intermediate Ballet (Minimum 6 yrs experience & faculty recommendation): Tue & Thur 6:00-7:30pm(AI) AND Sat 10:30-11:30am(AI)
Company Trainee/Apprentice (Must audition for placement & attend 5 times/week): Mon & Wed 5:30-7:00pm(CT) AND Tue & Thur 6:00-7:30pm(CT)
Teen/Adult Ballet Sessions
6 week Sessions, $75/session
Teen/Adult Beginners Session (ages 13 & up): Tuesdays, 7:00-8:00pm
Teen/Adult Intermediate Session (ages 13 & up): Wednesdays, 7:00-8:00pm
Students must be recommended by their teacher for any of the pointe classes. If you are new to the School of Greensboro Ballet, you will need to speak to our School Director, John Dennis at email@example.com, for a placement audition before signing up for any of the Pointe classes.
Pre-Pointe: Mon & Wed 6:30-7:00pm
Pointe - Elementary: Mon & Wed 7:30-8:00pm
Pointe - Intermediate: Tue & Thur 7:30-8:30pm
Pointe - Company Trainee: Tue & Thur 7:30-8:30pm & Sat. 11:30am-12:30pm (includes Variations)
Students who want to take Modern only may be admitted into any of these classes based on their experience and expertise. Returning SGB students are eligible based on requirements listed below. Modern A (ages 9 & 10, Lower level / IB-2 & IB-3 students): Tue 6:30-7:30pm
Modern B (Upper Intermediate level / AI & AIB students): Sat 11:30am-12:30pm
Modern C (Must be placed in this class if not a CT, ages 14 & up): Sat 10:30-11:30am
